SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy

To bring about a Just Energy Transition (JET), you have to take everyone with you and get them actively involved. On behalf of the German Government, GIZ supports a number of South African partner organisations as they embark on this journey. We interviewed a wide range of people about the changes they see happening in the Cape.

In Brazil, GIZ supports research and efforts to build a green hydrogen economy in a variety of ways. As a result, there has been an upsurge of interest from many stakeholders, including the private sector.

Demand for sustainable aviation fuels (SAFs) is growing rapidly. In this interview, Fabíola Correia de Carvalho from the SENAI Innovation Institute for Renewable Energies in Natal explains how research has joined forces with GIZ in Brazil to tackle this key issue for the future.
