Tin Can Telephone rollout in Uganda

for the first time a tin can telephone system has been enrolled out country wide in Uganda. This is a breakthrough compared to the smoke signs which have been used until now.

Uganda Revenue Authority reacted already to this change by adding 30% Tax on the importation of Tin Cans.

GIZ Uganda nevertheless will promote this new technology as it is a health improvement to the currently used smoke signs !
